Joyce Kraemer - Assistant Director of Conference Services

Joyce is the Assistant Director of Conference Services at the University of Pittsburgh. She is responsible for assisting with the scheduling, planning, and execution of all campus events. Joyce has spent 20 years in the hospitality industry planning conventions, conferences, meetings, social gatherings, trade shows, and virtual events.  Joyce brings a wealth of knowledge and new ideas to the conference services team, and mentors the conference coordinators daily.
 

Sue George - Conference Services & Hospitality Administrative Specialist

Sue previously worked with Pitt Athletics and the Pitt Alumni Association before joining the Conference Services and Hospitality Team. Her responsibilities include assisting the Vice Chancellor of Hospitality and the Director of Conference Services.  She also specializes in working with the teams’ vendors and clients, from payment processing to booking reservations at the University Club and other campus buildings.  Her previous roles with the university have been with Pitt Athletics and the Pitt Alumni Association.
 

Victoria “Tori” Ivock - Event Services Manager

Tori joined Conference Services in January 2022 as a Conference Services Coordinator. Her responsibilities include assisting with scheduling, planning, and executing special events, conferences, and meetings on campus. She supports customer and vendor relations, billing, and serves as lead contact for summer conferences and camps. Tori also helps with marketing and communications for the Conference Services team. Tori has a Bachelor of Arts, Self-Design in communication, public relations, marketing, education, community development, and fundraising from the University of Pittsburgh – Johnstown and a Master`s degree in higher education management from the University of Pittsburgh.


Marchaé Peters – Event Services Manager

Marchaé joined the Conference Services team in 2021. She has an extensive background in residence life, university events/programming, and student housing. Marchaé previously helped people with disabilities feel comfortable and prosper in inclusive environments. Marchaé has a B.S. in psychology from Seton Hill University, a M.S. in counseling psychology from Chatham University. She is currently working on her D.Ed. in administration and leadership at IUP.
 

Steven Kleckner – Membership Coordinator

Steven oversees the implementation and execution of the University Club’s membership benefits and programming. A graduate from Georgia State University with a B.A. of film and video, Steven's diverse background and over a decade of customer excellence contribute to his out-of-the-box thinking. Steven's unique approach is inspired by his global travels and personal experiences. Each program is carefully curated to entertain, enlighten, and inspire. Most importantly, his personal goal is to bring value to the members’ daily lives and create a space they can call their second home.
